March 15th, 2024 was a super special day for the Afro-descendant community of La Chiquita and the Indigenous Awá community of  Guadualito—co-producers of the documentary, Together for Water 💦, with Roots & Routes IC in collaboration with Selvas Producciones! On this day the two communities joined with the Roots & Routes IC event production team and the Karanki Kichwa Original People to see the full documentary for the first time.The Karanki people welcomed them to their territory and joined them in solidarity to traditionally bless and celebrate the birth of the film unto the world.
